I have been a camp counselor for children with special needs for almost 5 years now. I have also been a babysitter to numerous families since I was 14 years old. I have never been a formal tutor but I have done volunteer tutoring. I really like to help others and I think its great practice for when I become a teacher. I really like to work with people and be beneficial to them. I have taken many many classes so I have lots of information. Being an education major I have taken classes in all general subjects on how to teach that subject. It wasn't too long ago that I was in high school and getting ready for the ACT. I am also fluent in the Common Core Standards. I have done a lot of work with children ranging from age 1 to 22. I think I would be able to be a great tutor.
